Multi-Category Procurement & Container Consolidation for a Maldives-Based Buyer
KSH acted as the buyer's procurement coordinator in China: sourcing across categories, aligning orders and deliveries, inspecting goods with photo updates, and consolidating everything for container loading.

This is a multi-category procurement project executed by KSH for a commercial buyer based in Maldives. Products from different categories were purchased through different supply channels and coordinated as a single managed project.

Supplier & Order Coordination
The buyer needed to purchase several product categories at the same time. The products came from different supply channels, so specifications, quotations, orders, production timelines, and incoming deliveries all had to be coordinated centrally to keep the project moving as one shipment.

KSH identified supply options across the different product categories and compared quotations so the buyer could review specifications and pricing in one coordinated process.

Commercial negotiation and purchase coordination
KSH negotiated commercial terms with each supplier and coordinated the overall purchase plan, keeping specifications, pricing, and order quantities aligned.

Order placement, supplier payment and delivery follow-up
Orders were placed and followed up through production. KSH tracked lead times and incoming deliveries from the different supply channels.
Procurement Documentation & Packing Records
Coordinating purchases across different suppliers also requires clear records. KSH organized order information, delivery updates, packing details, and shipment preparation records to support the buyer's review and freight handover.

On-Site Inspection, Sorting & Packing
Arriving goods were received locally in China, opened carton by carton, checked manually, and documented with photos so the buyer could confirm condition before packing. Confirmed products from the different categories were then sorted, repacked where needed, and consolidated together as one shipment.

Women on our team handle much of the day-to-day inventory checking, photo documentation, sorting, and packing preparation. Their hands-on involvement helps us maintain organized records and communicate clearly with buyers throughout the process.

Container Loading & Space Optimization
During container loading, KSH coordinates carton placement and cargo arrangement to make efficient use of available space. We aim to maximize practical loading capacity while considering carton dimensions, weight distribution, cargo protection, and the forwarder's loading requirements.
KSH coordinated local consolidation and container loading in China. International ocean freight was handled by the buyer's nominated freight forwarder.
