Compliance & Documentation

Review documentation for the exact machine, engine, configuration and destination before order confirmation. EU, Great Britain, US, Canadian and Australian requirements need separate consideration; one document does not establish approval across markets.

For Australia, review machinery cleanliness and the exact engine type. The Product Emissions Standards guidance below concerns regulated spark-ignition engines; it does not establish approval for diesel models. For Great Britain, review machinery safety requirements alongside the applicable engine and radio-control documentation.

Machinery safety

Request the exact machine identification, instructions, risk-related documentation and applicable declaration of conformity. Requirements depend on the machine, destination and intended use.

Engine emissions

Match any approval to the exact engine type and installed configuration. An engine-family approval does not establish whole-machine safety conformity or cover other engines.

Radio-control system

Check the controller model, frequency and applicable radio-equipment documentation for the destination, together with emergency-stop and loss-of-signal information.

Spraying equipment & import preparation

Confirm the spraying system, intended application and local requirements. Review packing and cleanliness expectations, including Australian biosecurity requirements where relevant.

Scope of the supplied engine document

The supplied KOOP packet lists EU type-approval e24*2016/1628*2021/1398EV2/D*0548*00 for specified KD1110FC, KD1105FC and KD1100FC engine-family variants. It does not establish GREVOR whole-machine CE conformity, US EPA approval or Stage V coverage for the full range.

The GRV-800-F brochure lists KOOP 192F; GRV-1000-W lists only a 1105 engine description. Neither entry establishes a match to the approved variants. Document authenticity, current status and applicability to the proposed configuration require further verification.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I choose an 800mm or 1000mm cutting width?

Start with access, turning space, vegetation and the work area. The GREVOR brochure lists 800mm for GRV-800-F and 1000mm for GRV-1000-W; these are cutting widths, not overall machine widths. They do not establish that the engines or cutting systems are otherwise the same, or that the wider machine will finish faster.

Does a higher-horsepower engine mow faster?

Not necessarily. More engine power may provide reserve under heavy load, while actual output also depends on cutting width, travel speed, vegetation and working conditions. Confirm the exact engine and whether its rating is net or gross power, including the stated test basis; unrelated engine specifications cannot be assigned to these machines.

Flail mower or rotary cutter — which should I choose?

Compare the cutting mechanism, intended vegetation, desired finish and maintenance requirements. A flail mower uses multiple flails on a rotating shaft, while rotary cutting systems use rotating blades; the exact design and permitted material limits matter. Confirm the supplied cutting head and blade specification rather than inferring them from a model name.

Is a tracked mower suitable for steep slopes?

Tracks alone do not establish safe slope operation. Confirm the exact machine’s operating limits, traction, stability, stopping behaviour and instructions against the site and ground conditions. Slopes or slippery ground need a safety review before choosing either reference model.

What should I check before buying a commercial mower?

Confirm the job, access width, cutting system, exact engine, remote-control safety features and model-specific documentation. Ask for spare-part availability, service information and written supplier warranty terms. The purchase brief should also cover quantity, destination and export packing; MOQ and the final configuration are confirmed with the supplier.

Can KSH coordinate equipment sourcing and shipping?

Yes. KSH can compare supplier options, clarify specifications, arrange an agreed inspection scope and coordinate packing and shipping review. Send your job conditions, estimated quantity and destination; model suitability, documents, freight and delivery terms require confirmation before ordering.
